We need a further sheet of paper tacked to the foot of our family tree. Another generation has been added. Usually we restrict our postings to ancestors and generally those who have long furled their sails for the last time. But a new voyage of discovery has been launched.
My son Nigel Kahn and his wife Samantha have become grandparents for the first time. On Thursday, Eliza Ann Binfield was born in south Essex to their daughter Molly (born Kahn) and Charlie Binfield. Many congratulations to Eliza’s parents, grandparents and, dare I add, great-grandparents, this last of which I’m proud to be one. Alan Kahn
